We perform technical Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QNQC) for Collision Avoidance System CAS level 8 and level 9 installations and intervention, in accordance with ISO standards, mine health and safety legislation, and OEM technical requirements.

Our responsibilities include systematic auditing of installation documentation, including installation certificates, commissioning reports, as-built drawings, wiring schedules,and configuration records, to verify compliance with approved designs, OEM specifications, and regulatory requirements. We conduct detailed physical inspections of electrical, electronic, and communication wiring, ensuring correct routing, termination, shielding, grounding, and protection in line with OEM installation manu­als, IEC/ISO electrical standards, and mine safety practices for both level 8 and level 9 systems.

We verify that all CAS components are installed and configured in accordance with system perfor­mance specifications, including detection zones,alert logic, fail-safe behavior, redundancy, and system integrity monitoring, as defined by the OEM and site risk assessments. We perform functional and safety compliance assessments to identify and mitigate hazards to person­ nel, mobile equipment, and fixed infrastructure, ensuring adherence to Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA)requirements,lSO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety),and ISO9001 (Quality Manage­ment Systems)principles.

Additionally, we carry out general technical QA/QC inspections across mining operations, processing plants, and factory environments, raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)where deviations are identified, verifying corrective actions, and ensuring continuous compliance with site standards, OEM requirements, and statutory safety regulations. Our role supports risk reduction, operational safety,and system reliability, contributing to the preven­tion of vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-person incidents through effective CAS implementation and compliance assurance.
